Two of China's highest earth-core rock-fill dams (ECRDs) and concrete-faced rock-fill dams (CFRDs) were simulated by large-scale earthquake simulation shaking table tests in this work. A series of staged tests were performed, including white noise, different types of earthquake excitations with different magnitudes etc. The seismic performance of the ECRD and CFRD models were analyzed and investigated. The test results indicated that reservoir impoundment influenced the structure and seismic characteristics of the ECRD model much more than the CFRD model. The average fundamental frequency of the CFRD decreased less than the ECRD model when subjected to strong excitation. The acceleration amplification factors decreased as the input peak acceleration increased. The maximum acceleration occurred at the top of the ECRD model, while it occurred at 0.6–0.9 dam height of the CFRD model. Seismic residual deformations of the two models were very small. When subjected to strong earthquake excitation, the residual deformation of the CFRD model was smaller than that of the ECRD model. The dominant failure pattern of the two models was shallow sliding at the height of 3/4 on the downstream slope. The above analysis indicated that seismic performance of CFRD was superior to ECRD.  相似文献

在深圳地铁4号线403标,需要在高强度、各向异性、大倾角等特性的球状风化花岗岩孤石群地层中进行端承桩成孔,成孔与周围建筑物距离仅约20m,且一幢建筑物已严重倾斜,鉴定判断已属于危房等级,经多次论证,最终采用对周边环境影响较小的回转钻孔工艺。先后采用刮刀钻头切削钻进、球齿滚刀钻头碾压钻进、套筒取心钻头环切纠偏等多种钻孔措施相结合的复合钻孔工艺,配以反循环泥浆护壁进行钻孔施工,取得成功。该项技术可为类似地质条件桩基成孔提供良好的技术支持。  相似文献

Climate change is one of the greatest threats to humanity and requires immediate action. Schuldt, Konrath, and Schwarz (2011) suggested that beliefs in environmental phenomena can be influenced by the terminology used to describe it: changing question wording from global warming to climate change resulted in a 6.3 percentage point increase in belief in environmental phenomena. This association was moderated by political self-identification, with Republicans being 16.2 percentage points more likely to believe in climate change than in global warming, with Democrats showing no difference. The potential for connotative meanings to shift over time and the sociopolitical changes since the original study, potential policy and environmental campaign implications, and an expansion of these findings to other countries, motivated an attempt to replicate this important finding. This pre-registered study repeated the original procedures in the United States of America and two other countries (United Kingdom and Australia; total N = 5,717). Although question wording no longer had a significant effect on beliefs in climate change/global warming, the association of political self-identification with beliefs in environmental phenomena replicated in all three countries, with Conservatives consistently believing less in climate change/global warming than Liberals. The potential impacts of temporal and methodological differences on the discrepancies between this study's and the original's findings are discussed.  相似文献

Noctilucent clouds (NLC) are a beautiful, high-latitude, summertime phenomenon that was first reported over 100 years ago. They are seen during the hours of twilight by the scattering of sunlight from sub-micron-sized ice particles that form in the vicinity of the cold mesopause region. NLC are quite distinctive, often appearing silvery-blue in color. In recent years there has been a marked increase in their frequency of occurrence, possibly due to an increase in mesospheric water vapor and/or to a cooling of the mesopause region, prompting speculation that they are “harbingers” of potentially serious changes in the mesospheric climate. In concert with this trend there are also a growing number of ground-based NLC sightings at significantly lower latitudes than expected. Here we report two unusual NLC displays photographed from Logan, UT, USA (∼42°N) during June 1999, well over 10° lower in latitude than expected and implying a major, yet temporary, departure from normal mid-latitude summertime conditions. These data provide new evidence for the occasional expansion of NLC to unusually low latitudes possibly due to exceptional dynamical forcing. Alternatively, they may be an early indicator of significant long-term changes taking place in the upper mesospheric summertime environment.  相似文献

在沿海高地下水位地区,地下水浮力对建筑物作用往往比较强,因而这类地区建筑基础抗浮设计成为工程建设中的关键问题。在地下工程中通常采用设置抗拔桩来抵消地下水浮力对建筑物的不利影响。然而,实践证明并非一定要采用抗拔桩才能抵消地下水浮力的作用,应针对具体建设条件,采用更加经济合理的基础形式。结合上海地区某工程实例,对基础设计安全性和经济合理性进行探讨分析,并提出优化基础方案,以期对同类其他工程的基础设计有一定的借鉴作用。  相似文献

The 2014–2016 El Ni?o events consist of a stalled El Ni?o event in the winter of 2014/2015 and a following extreme El Ni?o event in the end of 2015. Neither event was successfully predicted in operational prediction models. Because of the unusual evolutions of these events that rarely happened in the historical observations, few experience was ready for understanding and predicting the two El Ni?o events when they occurred. Also due to their specialties, considerable attention were attracted with aims to reveal the hidden mechanisms. This article reviews the recent progresses and knowledge that were obtained in these studies. Emerging from these studies, it was argued that the key factor that was responsible for the stalled El Ni?o in 2014 was the unexpected summertime Easterly Wind Surges(EWSs) or the lack of summertime Westerly Wind Bursts(WWBs). Most operational prediction models failed to reproduce such stochastic winds and thus made unrealistic forecasts. The two El Ni?o events awakened the research community again to incorporate the state-of-the-art climate models to simulate the stochastic winds and investigate their roles in the development of El Ni?o.  相似文献

沉水植物是维持浅水湖泊清水稳态以及湖泊生态系统结构与功能的关键生物类群.近年来,气候变化和人类活动的双重作用造成湖泊水文情势的明显改变,对沉水植物的生长、繁殖和演替有着较大的影响.本文选取2个水位波动幅度与2个波动频率(逐渐改变水位),以恒定水位作为对照,研究湿地中具有重要生态功能的沉水植物刺苦草(Vallisneria spinulosa)的生物量及地上和地下营养器官形态结构对水位波动的响应.结果表明,相对于恒定水位,波动水位(低幅度低频率、低幅度高频率、高幅度低频率、高幅度高频率)对刺苦草的总生物量和获取限制资源相关器官有显著影响.相比于对照组,水位波动能够显著降低刺苦草分株数、叶片数、根数、根长、匍匐茎数、总匍匐茎长以及叶、根、地上和地下生物量,但会显著增加其株高和比叶面积.不同波动频率(低频率和高频率)和幅度(低幅度和高幅度)对光合器官的形态特征都没有显著影响,但叶和地上部分的生物量积累均受到波动幅度的显著影响.水位波动幅度显著改变了刺苦草的根数和根长,而波动频率的影响不显著.因此,对浅水湖泊受损刺苦草群落进行重建时,应避免较大幅度的水位波动,从而有利于增强植株快速恢复的能力.  相似文献

为提高大气数值模式的模拟能力,改进大气边界层水汽、热量湍流输送计算和大雾天气的模拟效果,选用WRF三维非静力模式,采用具有局地和非局地垂直湍流尺度自适应计算能力的MYNN_SA参数化方案,对2017年12月28—29日我国华北—江淮地区的大范围浓雾过程进行了数值模拟研究,探讨从中尺度到灰区尺度分辨率范围,模式的尺度自适应大气边界层湍流参数化方案对稳定大气边界层发展、湍流输送和大雾天气模拟的影响。利用中国地面气象站观测资料和ERA5再分析数据,在接近灰区尺度的网格分辨率上,利用尺度自适应大气边界层湍流MYNN_SA参数化方案较之中尺度参数化MYNN方案,可明显改善次网格湍流输送计算,以及陆地浓雾的强度、空间分布和时间演变特征,可更精确地模拟云水混合比、逆温层和雾区的垂直结构。  相似文献

利用2010—2018年全球闪电定位网(WWLLN)观测资料, 采用基于闪电密度的空间聚类算法(DBSCAN)建立了西北太平洋地区雷暴数据集, 研究了该区域雷暴的时空分布特征, 并进行海陆差异对比。研究结果表明, 在合理设定DBSCAN参数阈值的条件下, 基于WWLLN闪电聚类的雷暴与天气雷达观测在时空分布和过程演变上具有一致性。西北太平洋区域的日均雷暴数为3 869, 雷暴的闪电密集区平均面积为557.91km2, 平均延展尺度为31.99 km, 平均闪电频次为33 str/(h·thu)。在空间分布上, 东南亚沿海地区与热带岛屿的雷暴活动最强, 南海的雷暴活动强于深海。距离海岸线越近的海域其雷暴面积越大。在季节分布上, 整个区域雷暴活动在夏季(6—8月)达到全年最强, 南海雷暴活动6月达到峰值, 而日本东部近海海域的雷暴活动则在冬季达到最强。我国内陆南方地区雷暴3月开始显著增多, 雷暴平均面积达到最大, 但雷暴平均闪电频次5月才达到峰值。在日变化方面, 陆地雷暴活动呈现典型的单峰型特征, 大部分雷暴发生在午后及傍晚。海洋雷暴日变化则较为平缓, 南海具有其独特的雷暴日变化特征。   相似文献
